Ensure the PAYD PIN Pad is powered on and paired to the Apple iPad.
Tap the Settings button (
).
On the main menu, tap Configuration.
In the Configuration screen, tap Devices.
Once the Moneris PAYD PIN Pad has been configured, paired to the tablet, and enabled in the Configuration - Devices screen, the PAYD PIN Pad needs to be initialized. Follow the instructions below to initialize the PAYD PIN Pad.
Ensure the PAYD PIN Pad is powered on and paired to the Apple iPad.
Tap the Settings button ().
On the main menu, tap Configuration.
In the Configuration screen, tap Devices.
In the PIN PAD section on the right pane, tap Initialize.
A confirmation popup appears.
Tap Yes.
Wait while the PAYD PIN Pad initializes.
NOTE: The PAYD PIN Pad display screen shows “PLEASE WAIT” while it is initializing. This might take a few minutes to complete.
Once the initialization has successfully completed, a popup appears informing you the PAYD PIN Pad has been initialized. Tap OK.
When the WELCOME/BONJOUR screen appears on the PAYD PIN Pad’s display, it is initialized and ready to use.
