The cash drawer connects to the back of the desktop Bluetooth® receipt printer (via the cable provided with the drawer). When a receipt is printed, the drawer receives a command to open from the receipt printer. Follow the instructions below to connect the drawer to the printer.
NOTE: The cash drawer does not need to be paired with the Apple® iPad or with the PAYD Pro PlusTM App. The drawer only connects to the desktop receipt printer therefore it does not require Bluetooth pairing.
NOTE: The cash drawer does NOT connect to the mobile Bluetooth receipt printer.
Unpack the drawer from its packaging. Store the keys somewhere safe.
Ensure you situate the drawer on a flat, stable surface.
Connect the cable to the drawer following the manufacturer’s instruction.
Connect the other end of the cable to the appropriate port on the back of the receipt printer.
Configure the drawer open options.
