Use the Lanes screen to configure your PAYD Pro PlusTM In-Store lanes (POSs) and onscreen elements in a multi-lane environment.
On the PAYD Administration main screen, click the (Configuration) icon.
On the Configuration menu, click Lanes.
In the list of lanes, find the lane whose name you want to edit.
Enter a new Name for the lane.
Click the Save button at the top of the screen.
In the list of lanes, find the lane whose PINpad use indicator you want to change.
Click the Use a Pinpad checkbox as appropriate. A check mark in the box indicates that the lane uses a PINpad.
Click the Save button at the top of the screen.
NOTE: This setting will only be visible to integrated merchants.
In the list of lanes, find the lane you want to configure for reassignment.
Click the Reassign Lane checkbox. If the checkbox has been replaced with a Set to be reassigned message, the lane is already configured to be reassigned.
Click the Save button at the top of the screen.
In the list of lanes, find the lane whose Onscreen Keyboard use indicator you want to change.
Select Yes or No from the Use Onscreen Keyboard drop-down list as appropriate.
Click the Save button at the top of the screen.
NOTE: Selecting Yes in this drop-down menu enables both the Virtual Onscreen Keyboard and the Virtual Numeric Keypad for use with touch screen monitors. If you have a physical keyboard, you do not need to enable this feature. For information on using these onscreen elements, see Using the Virtual Keyboard and Using the Virtual Numeric Keypad.
In the list of lanes, find the lane for which you wish to use the 'Checkout' button.
Select Yes or No from the Use 'Checkout' button drop-down list as appropriate.
Click the Save button at the top of the screen.
The Checkout functionality is used in tandem with a customer display device (also called a display pole). Enabling this function enables the customer to see the taxes and grand total on the display device.

NOTE: If you do not have a customer display device connected to this lane, do not enable this feature.
