The Promotions Screen

Use the Promotions screen to manage product promotions on your PAYD Pro PlusTM system. Together with category, brand name, attribute, pricing group and fee management, promotion management is part of the PAYD Pro Plus inventory management functionality, which is accessed from the Inventory menu in the PAYD Pro Plus In-Store Solution.

Promotions are one of the discount tools offered by PAYD Pro Plus. They are product discounts available to all customers during a defined period of time. By default, promotions apply to all products in your inventory. However, you can apply a promotion to certain products only or apply specific promotional discounts to certain products by linking product categories, brand names, Product Names and Product IDs to the promotion and defining any specific discounts for these as needed.

To display the Promotions screen:

  1. On the PAYD Administration main menu, click Inventory.

  1. On the Inventory menu, under the Pricing heading, click Promotions.

The Promotions screen displays a list of promotions set up in PAYD Pro Plus.

 

Promotion Management Functions

From the Promotions screen, you can do the following:

NOTE: Depending on your user permissions, some functionality may be disabled or greyed out.

To view details of a promotion:

  1. On the list, click the Promotion Name.

Details of the promotion appear on the screen with the General Info tab selected.

  1. To view products linked to the promotion:

o       To view product categories linked to the promotion, click the Categories tab.

o       To view brand names linked to the promotion, click the Brand Names tab.

o       To view Product Names linked to the promotion, click the Products tab.

o       To view Product IDs linked to the promotion, click the IDs tab.

  1. To return to the Promotions screen, on the Products menu, click Promotions.
