Function keys (F1, F2, F3 and F4)

• Select the option displayed above the key.

Alpha-Numeric keys

• Used by customers to enter PINs and to select some options during pairing.

Cancel key ( key)

• Clear a message displayed on the PIN pad.

• Cancel a transaction.

Correct key ( key)

• Clear data entered on the PIN pad.

OK/Enter key ( key)

• Submit data, or acknowledge a message displayed on the PIN pad.

Chip Card Reader (slot at the bottom of the PIN pad).

• Insert a chip credit or chip debit card into the reader. See Card Entry Methods for more information.

Contactless Reader indicator (green flashing LEDs)

• No LEDs flashing: PIN pad is in Sleep Mode or is powered off.

• One light flashes: Contactless reader is fully powered on.

• Four lights flash: Contactless reader is capturing card data (because a customer has tapped their contactless card). See Card Entry Methods for more information.

Display Screen/Embedded Contactless Reader

• While the PIN pad is idle, the WELCOME/BONJOUR screen appears.

Magnetic Stripe Reader (slot along the top of the PIN pad)

• Swipe a credit or debit card's magnetic stripe through the reader. See Card Entry Methods for more information.

Micro USB Port (located on the right side of the PIN pad)

• Plug the USB charging cable into this port. See Charging the PIN Pad's Battery for more information.

Sleep/Wake button (located on the right side of the PIN pad)

• Press this button to power on the PIN pad (if powered off), or to wake it from Sleep Mode. See Powering up the PIN Pad and Powering Off the PIN Pad for more information.
