Running PAYD Pro PlusTM in Offline Mode

Below are some of the scenarios for running PAYD Pro Plus In-Store in Offline Mode:

Scenario 1

You start or log in to PAYD Pro Plus In-Store POS view but cannot connect to the server.

What Happens? You are notified that communication with the server is not possible.

What Should You Do?

  1. Indicate that you want to run Offline Mode.

The offline login dialogue box appears with your store ID already entered based on your last successful logon.

  1. Enter your Employee ID and Password.

NOTE: You do not need to enter your Store ID. It is displayed read-only based on the last login.

  1. Click the POS button.

 

Scenario 2

You are logged in to PAYD Pro Plus In-Store POS view and are suddenly disconnected from the server.

What Happens? You are notified that communication with the server is not possible and are asked whether you want to run Offline Mode.

What Should You Do?

  1. Indicate that you want to run Offline Mode.

The offline login dialogue box appears.

  1. Enter your Employee ID and Password.

NOTE: You do not need to enter your Store ID. It is displayed read-only based on the last login.

  1. Click the POS button.

 

Scenario 3

You are logged in to PAYD Pro Plus In-Store POS view but are experiencing a slow connection. You choose to switch to Offline Mode.

What Happens? Nothing.

What Should You Do?

  1. Log out of POS and close your browser.

  2. On the Windows Start menu, choose Programs > Morris > Morris Offline.

  1. Enter your Employee ID and Password.

  1. Click the POS button.

 

Scenario 4

You choose to start PAYD Pro Plus In-Store POS view in Offline Mode.

What Happens? Nothing.

What Should You Do?

  1. On the Windows Start menu, choose Programs > Morris > Morris Offline.
