Testing the Cash Drawer

Perform this test to ensure the cash drawer is properly connected to the Bluetooth® receipt printer.

NOTE: Before proceeding, you should also ensure that the receipt printer is paired and connected to the iPad.

  1. Tap the Settings button (A white gear icon on a teal button.).

  2. On the main menu, tap Configuration.

  3. On the Configuration screen, tap Devices.

  4. On the Devices screen, in the CASH TILL section, tap Test the cash drawer.

·        If the drawer opens, it is properly connected.

·        If the drawer does not open, check the following items:

o       Is it connected to the receipt printer?

o       Is the receipt printer to which it is connected paired to the iPad?

o       Is the receipt printer enabled in the App?
